What a year it has been.<\/b><\/p>\n

To say it has been a tough or challenging year is an understatement. From our personal lives to our workday lives, I imagine that\u00a0most of us have felt the impact<\/b>\u00a0of all that this year has sent our way and felt it on many levels.<\/p>\n

It is said that when external conditions force adjustment upon us, it is best to contemplate the positive instead of dwelling in the negative. I do not offer this observation lightly: as some of our students know, we here at\u00a0The Interpreter\u2019s Lab\u00a0<\/b>have been touched by loss and sadness in our own personal lives in recent months and so to\u00a0consider the light rather than the dark\u00a0<\/b>is advice that we have also been following.<\/p>\n

The quiet time that resulted as a change to everyone\u2019s schedules allowed the team at\u00a0The Interpreter\u2019s Lab\u00a0<\/b>to review and reflect on our own programs and offerings.
\nMoving to an online learning organization was something that we had planned several years ago, not ever foreseeing the events of this year and how the move to online teaching was a fortunate chain of actions given the pandemic response.<\/p>\n
